The solution

Digital Operations.
And the system that runs it.

Healthcare already knows how to make work safe and accountable for people: roles, supervision, records, and learning. Digital Operations applies that discipline to AI that does work. DOpS, the Digital Operations System, makes it practical.

How DOpS works

Create. Manage. Improve.
One system for the life of each role.

A model platform or an automation tool supplies capability. DOpS adds what turns capability into accountable work: the role, its context, its limits, its supervision, its evidence, and what it learns. Models, tools, and vendors can change underneath without changing the role.

  1. 1

    Create

Describe the work. The AI Advisor turns your answers into a defined role, fitted to your rules and sources.

  2. 2

    Manage

Direct the work, review exceptions, and grant authority task by task, on evidence.

    • Supervision
    • Evidence
    • Incident review

  3. 3

    Improve

Reviewed lessons update the work, and every Digital Worker joins one managed portfolio.

Authority flows down from your peopleEvidence flows up from the work

Built from the inside.
Not from a blank page.

Describe a responsibility. The Advisor identifies relevant operating know-how and helps fit it to your approved sources, systems, and local rules.

What comes with the factory?

Reusable work definitions, steps, skills, tools, and controls span patient access, clinical coordination, documentation, revenue, and practice operations. They are a starting foundation, not a claim of validated execution in every setting.

What does your organization contribute?

The context that makes the role yours: current procedures, governing sources, exceptions, permissions, named supervisors, and completion rules. ConverGen helps with configuration and local validation.

Proposed responsibility

Describe what gets stuck. The Advisor helps turn that need into a defined responsibility.

The embedded AI Advisor. It captures operating knowledge, selects reusable know-how, and prepares a reviewable design. In operation it surfaces patterns and proposes improvements, but never silently expands permissions. Forward deployment, built in: as present for the fourth Digital Worker as for the first.

Direct the work.
See what needs you.

Ask for progress, review an exception, or give direction through a familiar working conversation.

The Digital Worker keeps the continuing record. The Advisor helps you examine patterns and prepare improvements. Your people approve consequential changes.

Named supervisionBounded authorityContinuing records
Controls are part of management.

Roles, access, approvals, activity, incidents, and changes stay connected. Your team can narrow or pause authority. Governance is part of running the work, not a separate product to assemble.

Today’s gap

No one owns the work between the tools.

The DOpS answer

Every journey gets a steward.

A Digital Worker (DW) is a role, not a tool on a screen. It owns a defined journey from start to finish, across every team it touches, and answers to a named person on your team. Every DW has a record, like an employee file, that DOpS keeps current.

  • Identity, open work, and history continue across cases and conversations.
  • It works with every team the journey touches, rather than copying one employee’s job.
  • Your team defines scope, supervises exceptions, and approves how authority changes.

Models don’t know your organization.

The DOpS answer

Context is governed, not guessed.

A model can know what prior authorization is and still not know which policy governs this plan, which record is authoritative, or what your supervisor wants escalated. DOpS manages the local knowledge each role needs as infrastructure: six layers, each with a named owner and its own update rhythm.

Missing context is a state, not an invitation to guess. When context is missing, stale, or conflicting, the DW verifies, asks, or escalates.

Capable is not the same as dependable.

The DOpS answer

Reliability is engineered.

Long workflows fail through state. If a prior authorization is bound to the wrong policy at step three, every later step can be done competently and still be wrong. DOpS holds an operating map for each kind of work: the expected steps, the checkpoints, the moves that must never happen, and the paths back to a valid state.

The measure is escaped material error: an error not caught before it causes a material consequence. A caught error is evidence the system is working. Read Operational Reliability in Healthcare AI

  2. Payer and plan
  3. Governing policy: the state diverges here.
  4. Every later step is done well against the wrong policy, and the result is still wrong.
  5. With an operating map, a checkpoint catches the deviation and the work returns to a valid state.

Unmanaged agents become liabilities.

The DOpS answer

Every action is bounded and evidenced.

Authority is earned task by task, and it can be pulled back.

A new DW starts in shadow mode, working real cases without changing anything. Authority grows one task at a time as local evidence builds, the way a trainee earns privileges, and a supervisor can narrow it at any time.

Read Managed Autonomy and Operational Trust

A record your risk team and insurers can read.

Each DW acts under its own identity, with access scoped to its role. Every consequential act leaves a reconstructable chain.

  1. Which DW acted
  2. Under which authority
  3. Using which sources
  4. Who approved
  5. What happened
  1. Shadow mode. Observes, drafts, recommends.
  2. Supervised execution. Every material action approved.
  3. Exception-based autonomy. Escalates ambiguity and risk.
  4. Bounded autonomy. Monitored, reversible, auditable. A supervisor can narrow authority at any time.
The Digital Worker Record

Connects the role, identity, permitted work, sources, approvals, actions, incidents, and changes in authority. Reviewers can assess a maintained responsibility rather than reconstruct a changing collection of tools.

Agentmatics and DIS

Agentmatics is operational telemetry for Digital Labor: what workers were authorized to do, what they did, and under which controls. A Dynamic Insurability Score (DIS) can summarize evidence for review. It is not a guarantee of safety, an insurance policy, or proof of coverage.

AI management standards and audit

DOpS includes management controls and evidence intended to support alignment with relevant AI management standards, including ISO/IEC 42001. Its operation can be examined within an organization’s AI Management System audit. Certification applies to the audited management-system scope, not automatically to software or individual workers.

Lessons disappear.

The DOpS answer

Work becomes memory.

The next worker
starts further ahead.

You should not have to rediscover the same rules or resolve the same exception from scratch.

DOpS retains reviewed lessons, then makes them reusable within their approved scope. Models and tools can change without requiring your organization to forget.

How work becomes memory
  1. Context. Approved procedures and current rules guide the work.
  2. Evidence. Sources, actions, and decisions form an operating record.
  3. Human review. Accountable people decide what a lesson means and where it applies.
  4. Reuse. Approved knowledge returns to the work.
