Read the complete articleOperational Reliability in Healthcare AI
Reliable work depends on context, checkpoints, recovery, and a maintained operating map, not model intelligence alone.
Read articleWhy ConverGen
Healthcare already knows how to make work safe and accountable for people: roles, supervision, credentials, records, and learning. ConverGen brings that discipline to Digital Labor. We wrote it down in public, we use it ourselves, and we are implementing it with healthcare organizations.

Founder & CEO
MD, PhD, MBA
Physician-scientist and healthcare-technology entrepreneur. His training includes Harvard–MIT HST and MIT Sloan.
Fabio founded ViS Research, a clinical-trial workflow automation company acquired by IMS Health, now IQVIA. He led FDA-regulated clinical AI validation at Mass General Brigham, chaired the AI task force of the ANSI National Accreditation Board, and is technical lead on an ARPA-H program for AI agents in clinical care. His work spans healthcare workflow automation, operations research, and AI standards and assurance.
At ConverGen, he works with an engineering team to turn that experience into operating infrastructure that organizations can use and manage.
Start a conversationDefining the field
When AI starts doing accountable work, organizations need words for what they are managing. Through the Live Articles, ConverGen introduced the terms and the management architecture this field needs, and the articles show their sources and limits.
Each term below links to the article that defines it.
The bounded, role-bearing unit through which AI performs defined work under organizational authority.
Defined in From Tools to Digital WorkersThe work Digital Workers perform, with a defined purpose, scope, supervision, evidence, and lifecycle.
Defined in From Tools to Digital WorkersThe management discipline for designing, supervising, measuring, and improving Digital Labor.
Defined in The Digital Operations SystemThe Digital Operations System: the infrastructure that applies that discipline consistently.
Defined in The Digital Operations SystemAn organization in which people and Digital Workers contribute to accountable work through managed roles.
Defined in The Human-Digital OrganizationA machine-usable statement of how a unit of work should progress, with checkpoints and recovery paths.
Defined in Operational Reliability in Healthcare AIEvidence-based expansion, narrowing, pause, or revocation of authority, task by task.
Defined in Managed Autonomy and Operational TrustEffective authority over the operating system of your Digital Labor, while outside capability stays usable beneath it.
Defined in Creation and Control of a Digital WorkforceWhere we are
ConverGen uses Digital Workers in its own operations and is implementing the approach with healthcare organizations.
Operational outcomes have not yet been established. The examples on this website explain the operating design; they are not client results or guarantees of performance.
Technology & methods
DOpS connects reusable know-how to local context, then maintains the worker’s responsibility, authority, evidence, and memory.
Selected methods are patent pending through U.S. provisional applications. No issued patent or external validation is implied. Proprietary Operating Map content is separate from the methods in those filings.
